Our Bar & Your Options
We have a variety of drink packages available to enable you to select the perfect accompaniment to your event and your pocket.
Listed below are the various options and packages we offer, together with our current bar prices and everything we think you need to know about the bar. Just click on the relevant tab. As with all aspects of London and Thames Boat Company, we can offer bespoke packages including specialised wines. Just give us a call or contact us via the contact page.
To help your event run smoothly, why not choose an onboard account. You can discuss your specific requirements on booking. We are happy to tailor your account to your specifications, anything from a full open bar to house wines, beers and soft drinks.
There are flexible options of how to settle your bar account. You can pre-pay a set limit behind the bar and revert to a cash/card basis once that has been met. Your limit can always be increased with the balance paid before you leave the boat.
Should you not wish to prepay, your entire bar account can be paid at the end of the event, or can be invoiced to you post event. Please note that all accounts settled post event will incur a 10% processing fee.
Should you choose to place an amount behind the bar or set a limit, our onboard bar manager will ensure you are kept notified of how your guests are responding to this. This allows you full control to end the account or up the amount at your descretion.
With any type of account bar you will be asked to sign a tally sheet at the end of the event and given a copy to take with you. It is our policy to refund any unused Pre Event Bar Account amount.
Worried about everybody getting the same amount of drinks? – no problem, we can issue drinks tokens with the value of each token chosen by you.
At London & Thames Boat Company, we can offer bespoke drink packages to suit all requirements and budgets.
You can choose from welcome drinks, an all inclusive bar, Champagne toasts and table drinks for formal dining.

With our fully stocked and reasonably priced bar, you can always opt for a cash bar which will allow your guests to purchase their own drinks. This option offers the best flexibility and ensures your guests can choose exactly what they would like to drink.

Please be aware, guests looking under 25 will be asked for photographic ID to prove they are over 18 when buying alcohol.
London and Thames Boat Company requires all guests onboard to drink responsibly and reserve the right to refuse to serve anyone onboard should they feel necessary.
We are happy to provide you with drink tokens which you can distribute amongst your guests. You can set the monetary value for the tokens dependent on which drinks you would like your guests to have.
Drink tokens must be pre-paid and are non-refundable. They will be handed to the organiser on embarkation.
Tokens can be used independently or in conjunction with any bar package.

As well as our house wines, available in white, rose & red, we also have an extensive wine list that you can pre-order from. All pre-ordered wines must be paid for in advance and are non-refundable however, any wine that hasn’t been drunk can be taken away with you.
Please be aware that we may only have on board the exact amount of pre-ordered bottles.

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks CAN NOT be brought on board. The exception to this is wine which must be organised pre-event. A corkage charge will be made as follows, and charged per opened bottle:
Still Wine – £8 per bottle
Sparkling Wine – £10 per bottle
Champagne – £12 per bottle
