2 Dietary requirements are catered for at no additional cost, however, if particular requirements necessitate individual dishes being made then an additional charge of £4.00 per dietary request may be applied.

We believe that the menu is an intergral part of any event. We pride ourselves on delivering a first class service to all our clients and are always open to new ideas and suggestions.

On the menu tab you will find a selection of our suggested menus, however, we are happy to offer a bespoke service. If you would like to mix and match what you have seen or you want to start from sratch, please contact us for a discussion and a quote.

We are happy for you to provide your own catering, however, please bear in mind the following points: when and how is your catering going to be brought on board, dependent on piers an additional charge may be incurred, there will need to be someone in your party responsible for the catering and cleaning up – it is vital this person appreciates that they are on a boat and manage risks appropriately, for example in London we are more susceptible to choppy waters and the boat may rock. Please note that the use of deep fat fryers is strictly prohibited.

You will need to sign a disclosure prior to your event confirming you are accepting full responsibility for the safe provision of food and confirming you will be meeting all legally required food and health standards as per the Food Saftey Act 2006. London and Thames Boats Ltd will not be held liable should you or any of your guests suffer ill health as a direct result of own catering.

All refuse must be taken off the boat with you at the end of the charter and disposed of appropriately.

Should you wish to have use of the on board galley, there will be a compulsory Health and Safety Induction for all intended users prior to the use of it.

Own catering charge £2.95 per head plus VAT Own Catering & Use of Galley charge £5.00 per head plus VAT

At the end of your charter, yourself and a member of on board staff are required to check and sign an agreement confirming that the vessel has been left clear of all rubbish. If this is not completed and London and Thames Boats Ltd have to remove rubbish directly associated with your own catering, a disposal fee of £150 plus VAT will be invoiced to the organiser.

If the galley has been used, yourself and a member of on board staff are required to check and sign an agreement confirming that the galley has been left clean and clear, with all fixtures and fittings left in good working order and present. If this is not completed and London and Thames Boats Ltd have any additional charges relating to cleaning, fixing or replacing equipment as a direct result of your own catering, the cost amount, plus a processing charge, will be invoiced to the organiser.

As with all aspects of an event on the Golden Salamander, we can make your function bespoke.  Alternative table seating arrangements and larger numbers can be catered for, just contact us. 

Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten free, Halal and other dietary requirements are available on request prior to event. All alternative dishes will be Chefs’ choice.  We cannot guarantee that any of our dishes are free from allergens and therefore cannot accept any liability in this respect. Passengers with severe allergies are advised to assess their own level of risk and consume dishes at their own risk.
