All of our dishes can be tailored to suit your tastes and we even offer a bespoke service where we can start from scratch making sure your event is exactly how you would like it. With our experience and your ideas, we will make an event to remember.

The Great British Roast Carvery is a selection of traditional English roast meats carved by the chef to your plate. The carvery is served with a range of a complements, great for any family occasion. £17.50 per person.

Nothing excites me more than experimenting with and creating tasty food using fantastic produce, which I hope you will be just as excited to eat.

Bespoke menus are something I get very excited about as the possibilities are amazing, allowing me to develop my passion.

Be it a specific theme to match your event or simply some of your favourite dishes this is where I can help put your passion at the heart of your menu.

The Riverboat Chef

We are more than happy for you to do your own catering. We do ask that you think about when and how this is to be loaded, dependent on piers, this maybe an additional charge to yourself, who will be in charge of the catering and cleaning up. It is vital the person/s in charge of catering appreciate they are on a boat and manage risks appropriately, for example in London we are more susceptible to choppy waters and the boat may rock.

You will need to sign a disclosure prior to your event, confirming you are accepting full responsibility for the safe provision of food and confirming you will be meeting all legally required food and health standards as per the Food Saftey Act 2006. Berkshire Boats Ltd will not be held liable should you or any of your guests suffer ill health as a direct results of own catering.

All refuge must be taken off the boat with you at the end of the charter and disposed off appropriately.

Should you wish to have use of the on board galley, there will be a compulsory 30 minute Health and Safety Induction for all intended users prior to the event. You can arrange this upon booking and may result in an additional charge to yourself, depending on where and when you organise this for.

Own catering charge £1.95 per head plus VAT         Use of Galley charge £3.50 per head plus VAT

At the end of your charter, yourself and a member of on board staff are required to check and sign an agreement confirming that the vessel has been left clear of all rubbish. If this is not completed and Berkshire Boats Ltd have to remove rubbish directly associated with your own catering, a disposal fee, plus a processing charge, will be invoiced to the organiser.

If the galley has been used, yourself and a member of on board staff are required to check and sign an agreement confirming that the galley has been left clean and clear, with all fixtures and fittings left in good working order and present.  If this is not completed and Berkshire Boats Ltd have any additional charges relating to cleaning, fixing or replacing or equipment as a direct result of your own catering, the cost amount, plus a processing charge, will be invoiced to the organiser.

Vegetarian, Gluten free and other dietary requirements are available on request prior to event. All Prices are exclusive of VAT.

Dietary Requirements

When inviting your guests it is vital to check their dietary needs to make sure that we are able to cater for them on the event. Once the boat has departed the pier we are very limited in what we can offer, should we then find out your guests are allergic to something. However, we are here to help and with as much notice as possible, will do our best to offer your guests an alternative that fits with your menu style.

Situated on the banks of the River Thames, Windsor Race course gives a perfect setting for a fantastic evening. Therefore what better way to arrive than by our own Windsor Race Night cruise. En route to the race cause enjoy a half bottle of champagne and a traditional afternoon tea buffet. Whilst you take in the sights and relax along the Thames, browse through your race card and racing post to pick your winning horses. We will arrive at the race course 30 minutes before the race giving you plenty of time to head on over with your club enclosure ticket and pick your perfect spot. Once racing has concluded, your vessel will be waiting for you to take you back to Maidenhead. A two course hot buffet and complimentary bar of beers, wine and soft drinks is served on the return journey. So sit back and unwind after a busy evening winning at the race course. At least we hope you have had some winners.

Let us entertain you in luxurious style during the Henley Regatta, aquintessential date in the English Calendar Start your day with morning pastries and cookies, freshly brewed tea and coffee and enjoy the exclusive riverside setting of our Tudor Mansion in Henley. The house and grounds are next to Henley Bridge and Regatta HQ. We have superb marquee facilities with traditional furnishings and fittings, exterior furniture, extensive floral decorations and top quality catering and wines, along with impeccable service. Complimentary drinks are available throughout the day. Pimms, Bucks Fizz and Champagne will be served on board our elegant river vessel as we begin the first of our two trips along the course, so you can enjoy the wonderful atmosphere at this most prestigious and enjoyable event. On returning from the trip, you will be served a sumptuous three-course lunch in your exclusive marquee, accompanied by fine French wines. Our afternoon cruise will take you upstream and after passing the finish line, you’ll take in views of Henley Town, before we pass Rod Eyot. Then we will navigate the entire length of the Course allowing you to take in the sights of the Stewards Enclosure and Temple before returning to Bird Place. A free bar is available throughout the trip. On arriving back at Bird Place, a traditional English Strawberry & Cream Tea will be served, which can either be enjoyed within your marquee, or on the lawns.
